Dividend Policy
Specifically, while aiming for a dividend payout ratio of 20% or more in principle, in order to provide stable and continuous dividends, the Company will set the lower limit of the adjusted dividend payout ratio (Note 2) at 2%, and will pay dividends per share that are equal to or higher than those of the previous fiscal year, excluding special dividends.
Our basic policy is to pay dividends once a year as a year-end dividend, and the decision-making body for dividends from surpluses is the Board of Directors.
Dividend amounts are determined based on adjusted net income, excluding special factors not directly related to business activities, and take into consideration the outlook for full-year business performance and capital needs for growth, while also seeking to enhance internal reserves to make investments necessary for growth.
With regard to retained earnings, we intend to use them as investment funds that will contribute to future profits and the sustainability of our company, such as for investments in new store openings, renovations and other facilities, as well as investments in human capital, including personnel training for future business expansion, while also working to further strengthen our financial position.
Based on the above policy, we have paid dividends of 9.00 yen per share for this fiscal year.
We also strive to provide comprehensive returns to shareholders through shareholder benefits that can be used at domestic group stores and a continuing shareholder benefit system.
