MARUGAME SEIMEN (Self-service Udon)

Under the MARUGAME SEIMEN brand, we opened a total of eight new restaurants, including one roadside restaurant and seven restaurants inside shopping malls. Twelve restaurants were also closed, bringing the consolidated total number of restaurants in operation at the end of this fiscal year to 775.
MARUGAME SEIMEN revenue increased 6.8% year on year to ¥82,423 million, and segment profit rose 22.5% to ¥12,943 million.

TORIDOLL (Yakitori Family Dining)

The TORIDOLL brand saw two new restaurants opening and three closures, which brought the consolidated total number of restaurants in operation at the end of this fiscal year to 18.
TORIDOLL revenue increased 5.6% year on year to ¥2,339 million, and segment profit rose 252.7% to ¥156 million.

MARUSHOYA (Ramen)

One restaurant was closed under the MARUSHOYA brand, bringing the consolidated total number of restaurants in operation at the end of this fiscal year to 13.
MARUSHOYA revenue declined 0.2% year on yearto ¥989 million, but segment profit increased 35.3% to ¥118 million.

NAGATAHONJYOKEN (Yakisoba)

Two restaurants were closed under the NAGATAHONJYOKEN brand, bringing the consolidated total number of restaurants in operation at the end of this fiscal year to 12.
NAGATAHONJYOKEN revenue fell 4.2% year on year to ¥853 million, but segment profit increased 65.6% to ¥78 million.

Overseas Business

With overseas business, 157 restaurants were opened, including 143 franchise restaurants, and 16 restaurants were closed, including six franchise restaurants. This resulted in a consolidated total of 243 restaurants, including 209 franchise restaurants, in operation at the end of this fiscal year.
Revenue increased 55.2% to ¥6,255 million, and segment profit was ¥436 million (a segment loss of ¥620 million was recorded the previous consolidated fiscal year), which is a considerable increase in revenue and profit compared to the previous consolidated fiscal year.

Others

As for other restaurants, 14 restaurants were opened in Japan, including one franchise restaurant, and five restaurants were closed, resulting in a consolidated total of 31 restaurants in operation at the end of this fiscal year.
The Others category includes the restaurant brands Makino, Kona’s Coffee, and Lanai Cafe.
Revenue increased 37.5% to ¥2,728 million, and segment loss was ¥296 million (a segment loss of ¥213 million was recorded the previous consolidated fiscal year).
